These video is a retouching and stop motion animation project highlighting the reversibility of Bar III’s bedding. I also created a GIF looping the reversing bed.

 

First, I retouched an existing bedding shot to an empty bed so that this bedding couple be superimposed. I worked with the photo studio to shoot stop motion shots that matched the angle and perspective of the existing background.

 

After the shots were finished, I masked and retouched each frame that needed to be animated. I incorporated the stop motion into 30 second and 15 second pre-roll videos created in After Effects and into a GIF.
